New Stores!!

Ella Dean Design is a reflection of my family

I am so excited to announce the opening of two new stores open now on Etsy!  Ella Dean Design is the "mother" store and we have had great success in that store, and that store is going to start offering art, fabric, ventige items and handmade home decor items.  I love Ella Dean Design, and it represents generations of strong, smart, fashionable women in my family.  I am wanting to show a reflection of them in this store.  I want this store to branch out and become more than selling just one type of item.  My family is multi layered and talented and I definately want Ella Dean Design to reflect that.

I think when most people see this print that they think modern, but I see the crisp clean lines of traditional, depending on the color I can see shabby chic with a little bit of cottage chic, and of course there is a modern flare to it. The prices below are all for drum type shades.  This means the the width is the same on the top ring as it is on the bottom ring.  These prices below are just to give my customers an idea of my pricing.  I make custom lamp shades that can be made in sizes from 4" through 24", and in any height that you can dream of..... Lamp Shade Sizes Available

These are the Lamp shade sizes that are available for order in my Etsy store....

I have made all different styles and types of lamp shades, but I generally sale drum lamp shades.  I hand make all of my lamp shades.  A drum lamp shade is known as a shade that has the same size top ring as it does bottom ring.  This shade is made with a 90 degree angle.  Straight size and typically looks like a drum, hence the name.  These shades go with any decor from modern to traditional.  I love the style of the drum lamp shade and how depending on the material that you put on it you can transform it into any design style you want.  The drum lamp shade is extremely popular in the larger sizes right now, but are also popular in even the smaller chandelier or sconce shades.  When I speak of the sizes of my shades (below) I am talking about the size of the diameter in inches.  The diameter is a straight line that passes through the center of the circle.  The size of the height can be up to you if you want to set up a custom order.  If you are looking at the sizes that are in my store it is always written as diameter in inches by height in inches.

The following sizes are available with attached bulb or candelabra clips:

• 4" size with a torpedo clip for candelabra bulbs
• 5" with a regular bulb clip attached
• 7" with a regular bulb clip attached
• 8" with a regular bulb clip attached

The following sizes are available with a spider top (a separate candelabra clip or bulb clip with finial can be attached to any of these sizes.... I sale these separately in my store.  Just message for me in my Etsy store,  and I will add one to your order.)

• 5" through 17"  in diameter (with any height you can dream up)

I can also make sizes of as large as....

• 18"" through 24" in diameter.... these shades should not be used with a bulb clip because of how large they are.  These sizes will require a harp and finial.  I also sale these separately in my store.  For more information on fitting these shades on a harp, please take a look at my posting here on this blog on Lamp Shade 101.
• Any of these shades can be used as a pendant light with a hardwired pendant light or plug in style pendant light.  I also sale these in my store.  I will be writing a blog soon on the types of pendant lights I have available, and general information on each of them.

1.  Premier Prints: Zig Zag in Storm… This is a great Chevron print in silver/ grey and White. 

2.  Premier Prints: Zig Zag in Village Blue… This is a great Chevron Print in light blue and off white. 

3.  Premier Prints: Zig Zag in Blue Moon... This is an indoor / outdoor fabric in a chevron pattern.  This fabric is great for outside shades, or in the kitchen, bathroom, or in a child's playroom.  The colors are a teal blue and white.

4.  Premier Prints:  Zig Zag in Village Brown.. This fabric is a great chevron print and brown and creamy ivory.

5.  Premier Prints:  Zig Zag in black and white... This ultra modern fabric is a great chevron print that would add style to any room.

6.  Premier Prints:  Zoom Zoom in Stone / Denton…This is another great chevron print with three colors… Taupe, grey and beige / denton.

7.  Premier Prints:  Zazzle in Nova Grey/ Birch… This is a great Chevron print in ivory, light grey and dark grey. (The picture for some reason does not look grey, but this fabric is in greys and ivory.

8.  Premier Prints:  Zippy in cloud / Denton… This is a large Chevron print fabric.  Ultra modern design in beige and white….linen type fabric.

9.  Premier Prints:  Amsterdam in Storm…This is a very traditional and elegant fabric in grey/ silver and white.

10. Premier Prints:  Amsterdam in Real Turquoise.. This fabric is one of my favorites.  The colors are Turquoise and white.

11.  Waverly Fabric: Cross Section grey and white... This fabric has a geometric pattern in a clean and modern design.

12.  Waverly Fabric:  Cross Section green and white…. This fabric has Geometric Pattern in a clean and modern design.

13.  Premier Prints:  Brick twill River Rock... Colors are honey tan, ivory, white and grey.      

14.  Premier Prints:  Shiba Collection in summerland/ Natural.. This fabric is fabulous in the colors of grey, yellow and a white overlay of ovals. 

15.   Premier Prints Fabric:  Murphy's  houndstooth print in black and white

16.  Robert Allen Fabric:  Cats Cradle in blue and white.  This is a great geometric fabric in a linen blend fabric.

17.  Waverly:  Sun N Shade Lovely Lattice Lagoon… This is an indoor / outdoor fabric.  Great for outdoor rooms, sun rooms, Kitchens….. Colors include “Tiffany” blue and white.

18.  Waverly:  Sun N Shade Parterre Indigo… This is another indoor/ outdoor fabric in a great textile pattern in indigo blue and ivory.

19.  Dwell Studio:  Belle Porte Charcoal… Another great geometric design in ivory outlined in black on a charcoal grey background.

20.  Waverly:  Sun N Shade Parterre Grass… This is an indoor/ outdoor fabric in creamy ivory and grass green.

21.  Grey Twill Fabric…. I use a variety of makers, but on the same color pallet. 

22.  Premier Prints:  Twill Harmony… Solid Turquoise fabric.

23.  Premier Prints:  Topeka solid in Charteuse green.                                          

24.   University of Kentucky Fabric in royal blue and white.  This fabric is licensed by The University of Kentucky, and I am in no way affiliated with the University of Kentucky.  I am just a huge fan!
